WordPress Search

WordPress Search is rather interesting.  I’m curious to find out more about how WordPress performs its search.  How does WordPress Search work?

My initial thoughts are that WordPress search works based on keyword density.  Hence this is a crafted WordPress blog to test this search theory.  If I can get this WordPress post to show up on the first page of the WordPress search when doing a search for “WordPress search” then I think I will be onto something regarding how their search works.  So,  when I do a search for “WordPress Search”,  will this page show up on the first page of the search results?

The search are based on chronological matches, applied to content only in posts. A few plugins and it can suck less.
